Our experienced team conducts the required CT, Ultrasound, Doppler or other scans using advanced, institutional-grade technology with utmost care and safety.
Every scan is reviewed and reported by our consultant radiologists. We follow peer-reviewed, institutional protocols to ensure the highest diagnostic accuracy.
Reports are delivered with clear explanations. We also support you with further guidance and follow-up care, ensuring your health journey continues with us.

Ask us directlyIt depends on the scan. For a pelvic or early pregnancy ultrasound, drink about 4–5 glasses (around 1 litre) of water an hour before and avoid passing urine, so your bladder is comfortably full. For an abdominal ultrasound, do not eat for 6 hours; small sips of water are fine. For a contrast CT, fast for 6 hours. Our team will confirm the exact preparation when you book.
Please bring your doctor’s referral or prescription, any previous scan reports and films, a photo ID and a list of the medicines you take. For a contrast CT, also bring a recent kidney function (creatinine) report. If you are claiming insurance, carry your insurance or TPA card.
Wear loose, comfortable two-piece clothing so the area being scanned is easy to reach. Leave jewellery and metal accessories at home where possible; we will give you a gown if one is needed.
Walk-ins are welcome, as we are open 24 hours. Booking a slot, by phone or with the appointment form, keeps your waiting time short and lets us tell you about any preparation in advance.
Most routine imaging reports are ready within about one hour of your scan. Every report is written by our own consultant radiologists, never outsourced.
Yes. Thulliyam Scans is open all days of the week, including Sundays and public holidays. Sunday is a regular working day, and from 8 PM to 8 AM the centre remains open for emergency cases only.
